NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After committing to fulfill demand from fans who were requesting more music from her, soulful teen country artist Bailey James is releasing a brand-new single titled Train Wreck. After receiving great feedback on her last single Beck & Call, which was released in April, Bailey is excited to get this next single out for everyone to hear. Train Wreck is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all other digital retailers now.
The new single written by Bailey and Justin Addis, was crafted back in December of 2019. “Justin had a sound that fit the situation I was going through. I had just separated with someone I really loved, and my emotions were a mess,” Bailey recalls of where she was at in life upon penning the emotional single. “I hadn’t been alone in so long and the breakup was messy. It really felt just like a train derailing, but it was therapeutic to write my pain. It gave me a lot of closure.” Produced by Leland Grant (Chris Young), Train Wreck showcases the maturity and emotional depth that Bailey has taken on as a young artist. Wanting to truly let her vulnerability be front and center on this track, Bailey admits “Train Wreck was a super emotional song for me, and I hold it near and dear to my heart.” However, Bailey hopes that with the release of such a personal song that it not only heals her heart but helps her fans who have gone through similar situations as well. “I hope this song helps others close a door that needs to be shut and allows them to move on.”
