The Art of Pride 2019

Make an exhibition of yourself

Celebrity DJ | Open Bar | Food | Touching History: Stonewall 50 Exhibition

Palm Springs Art Museum’s The Art of Pride is a brand new official Pride event that kicks off the celebration weekend on Friday, Nov.1, 5:30-8:30 p.m. This one-of-a-kind party is an LGBTQ gathering where we welcome our friends and allies to join us at the museum!

All three levels of the building will be open including our two outdoor patios and the Annenberg Theater so attendees can explore offerings from the permanent collection and current exhibitions, including Touching History: Stonewall 50 a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of New York’s Stonewall riots bringing together an intergenerational group of contemporary artists working in photography and collage.

The evening is limited to 1,000 attendees and includes DJ Kimberly S. spinning music throughout the building, an open bar, appetizers, and Boomerang Photo Booth by Coachella Party. The Art of Pride will be an ideal way to launch the weekend, so come and make an exhibition of yourself with a wonderful mix of locals and out-of-towners in a fun-filled celebration of queerness and culture!
