WHY WE WALK
The threat is still here, and so are we.
We’ve made progress but we’re not done yet. AIDS Walk Los Angeles is our platform to bring together communities, educate and bring awareness to the ongoing HIV/AIDS epidemic in Los Angeles County, reduce stigma, and end the epidemic once and for all.
We walk for the 34 years of history and progress behind us and for the work that still lies ahead. We walk for those who no longer can. We walk for the loudest of voices, and the voiceless among us. We walk for a city. We walk for a nation. We walk with you.
Your Donations Help to Buy Groceries
Our Vance North Necessities of Life Program (NOLP) is the largest food bank in the nation for people living with HIV and provides more than 104,000 bags of groceries a year. Even so, there are still too many people out there who have to choose between lifesaving medication and their next meal.
But with your help they won’t have to. The money raised during AIDS Walk Los Angeles supports our NOLP program. When you walk and fundraise, you are bringing food, nutrition classes and friendship to thousands more people in Los Angeles County.

October 9 – Register 25 people or more to get a Team Meeting Station
October 11 – Submit your Drive On Application (Teams of 25+ members only)
October 11 – Last day to qualify for parking under City Hall
October 20 – AIDS Walk Los Angeles
November 15 – Fundraising deadline
