Alfio Borghese is well known for his journalism among many other things. He has interviewed the best of the best to include, Artists Picasso and De Chirico. Great writers Moravia, Bassani Italian politician, Einaudi Togliatti and actors like Marcello Mastroianni and Sofia Loren.

“Viva Italia: Evoluzione E Metamorfosi Di Arte” – A group show produced and curated by Alfio Borghese in collaboration with Dale Youngman and GDCA.
“Viva Italia” features the diverse artworks of 29 artists from Rome, Italy exhibiting paintings, mixed media, photography and sculpture.
Alfio Borghese of the noble Borghese family has been acclaimed throughout Italy for over 40 years as an art critic, curator, art director, journalist, television host and philanthropist. Borghese produced several notable series of films and documentaries featuring the most important artists, writers and political figures of the twentieth century. He writes weekly art editorials in newspapers, magazines & has recently written two books. He advocates for artists, from the most famous throughout Italian history, to today’s emerging and established artists. Committed to cultural exchanges, he has produced multiple events in collaboration with artists, galleries & museums in California & Italy, regularly hosting American artists in his home form 2014-2018.
Borghese directed the Italian Pavilion of Viterbo for the Venice Biennale in 2011 and since 2012 has served as president and curator of the Biennale di Frosinone, Anagni and Alatri, a major exhibition of 180 works from 90 artists. He serves as artistic director of the Festival of Contemporary Visual Arts sponsored by the City and Province of Frosinone and regularly curates prominent exhibitions in Veroli, Anagni, Grottammare, Genoa, the Palazzo degli Alessandri in Viterbo, and the Villa Baruchello in Porto San ‘Elpidio.
In collaboration with the European Union, Borghese was instrumental in creating 21 museums through the province of Siena, including the National Museum of Archeology. He has instructed laureate courses in film, theater and television, and as President of il Teatro Stabile dei Ragazzi, Borghese has written and directed hundreds of theatrical performances for youth and adults.
