The “Lovatics” came out in full effect on Saturday January 27th to get a glimpse of Pop Star Demi Lovato as she was scheduled to attend a Fabletics event at the Del Amo Fashion Center for her new collaboration with the company Fabletics, which makes sophisticated and sleek fitness wear for females and males!
It was my first time in a Fabletics store and it was closed on this day for Demi’s event but the staff and company were super nice and casual and very friendly which made for a wonderful jam packed event and day. The DJ for the event was superb as well!!
The event was announced last minute and drew crowds of thousands waiting outside of the mall to even get a peak at Miss Demi. It was the place to be on Saturday and it was a wonderful opportunity for me to be in attendance and meet Demi Lovato herself, who is currently in rehearsals for her joint tour with Superstar DJ Khaled!!
Her new album “Tell me You Love me” was released recently to rave reviews and she also released her personal documentary on YouTube titled “Simply Complicated”. In the documentary she shares her personal struggles with fame and growing up a Disney child star, family, and her battle with drugs and bulimia. When I watched her film, I related to her so much more because of my own personal issues with weight loss and I think her appeal to millions is because she is so genuine, honest, raw as relatable and that makes her so powerful and inspiring to men and women all over the world.
This is why I think she was chosen as a new partner for Fabletics because the appeal is real and to beauty that is attainable and authentic. For the event, Demi was dressed in printed leggings and a matching top, a black zip up jacket and black sneakers. Demi completed her look with a super slick ponytail, hoop earrings, and a touch of pink lipstick. In addition to giving Her fans a peak of her latest collaboration with the brand, featuring new active wear and work out gear, Demi also debuted her first ever lifestyle accessories. She told me she is all about positivity and that she starts her day by loving herself and being okay with where she is right now. She has started to set realistic goals for herself and feeling good is the start to her super empowerment. I think this is a wonderful collaboration for Demi Lovato and the Fabletics team and will be a huge success for all involved.
