Don’t miss out on the last week of Llewellyn Xavier’s solo exhibition The Mating Dance Of The Unicorn. Xavier is renowned for using brilliant colors to reflect the light and life of the Caribbean. His art serves a multiplicity of functions; philosophical as well as aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from contemporaries of American Abstract Expressionism, Xavier’s bold daring vision and grandiose gestures manifest in a boundless energy of sheer force of purpose and power. His artwork is free of restraint, creating a pure vision that is both relevant and immediate. The exhibition will be on view through Saturday, October 21.

UNIX Gallery proudly presents Infinity’s Sprawl by American abstract artist C. Michael Norton. Defined by splashes of color and gestural peregrination, this solo exhibition focuses on Norton’s ability to navigate the full potential of raw canvas, leading the viewer on a journey through an artist’s mind to move seamlessly through the subconscious/unconscious. Featuring brand new paintings and bold works never before seen in the gallery, this marks Norton’s first solo exhibition at UNIX Gallery. Infinity’s Sprawl runs from October 26 through December 9, 2017 at UNIX Gallery, 532 West 24th Street.
An opening reception will be held at the gallery on Thursday, October 26, from 6 – 8 PM.

DC DESIGN HOUSE
Desire Obtain Cherish’s Pink Cream Meltdown has been included in this year’s DC Design House, in collaboration with Margery Wedderburn Interiors. The annual DC Design House, located at 9004 Congressional Court in Potomac, MD, benefits the Children’s National Health System.
The installation will be on view through Sunday, October 29.
