Song-stylist Jonathan Karrant returns to the stage at the Purple Room to weave his magic with his warm and rich soulful voice as he performs an evening of “Songs From the Heart”. “Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get only with what you are expecting to give which is everything” (Katharine Hepburn) And that is just what Jonathan does with this musical journey of love songs.
Jonathan’s album, “On and On” hit #4 in jazz charts. He has received honors thoughout the states including; the 2014 New York City Jazz Cabaret Honors and, in 2015, he was voted “Best Singer” for the Bravo California Awards. Also, in 2016 Jonathan was named one of the top 12 rising jazz vocalists in New York. He has study the art of performance under the direction of Marilyn Maye and Kurt Elling.
