Take part in special artist showcases taking place each weekend at Off the Page in Hollywood Land from 2 – 5 p.m. with some of our Disney inspired artists, as part of the 2016 Disney California Adventure® Food & Wine Festival. The excitement of the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returns for 5 weekends starting in April. This year’s festival features Celebrity Kitchen—hosted by some of your favorite superstar chefs—plus dozens of events and tastings, including culinary demonstrations, beverage seminars and lifestyle talks on art, gardening, wellness and more!
And don’t miss the unique food and beverage offerings of our special Festival Marketplaces, offering the regional diversity of California food and wines, as well as separate festival-inspired menus across Disney California Adventure Park.

Dave Avanzino
Dave’s mixed-media artwork combines famous Disney words, phrases, characters and attractions with a variety of papers, wire, wood, metal and other materials to create unique multi-dimensional works of art. His unique style draws the viewer into each piece as they take in all of the rich details, colors and textures he uses to render each subject. Dave continues to capture countless Disney characters, icons and classic phrases and brings them to three-dimensional life in his creative shadowbox artwork.

Stephen Cargile
Stephen Cargile draws inspiration from the art of European film poster artists and the muralists of the United States’ WPA period of the 1930′s. A native of Texas, Steve grew up admiring the art deco buildings and murals of Fair Park in Dallas which were created in 1936 for the Texas Centennial. He learned an “architectural” approach to drawing from his father who was an expert draftsman. Steve enjoys portraying the Disney characters with a stylized simplification that connects to the basic essence of their personalities and had the fortunate opportunity to apprentice with veteran Disney animator Richard Ruhl. Over the years Stephen has worked as a Character Art Manager at Disney Consumer Products, and currently is a Principal Show Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering (specializing in the Disney characters), which has allowed him to art direct projects for various Disney Parks around the world.

Mike Peraza
Mike Peraza is an award-winning designer with over 40 years of experience creating magic for The Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Television, Walt Disney Comics, Disney Press and Walt Disney Imagineering. Over the years, Mike has had the opportunity to work with notable directors and producers as well as eight of the Nine Old Men and his works can be seen in collections worldwide.

Patty Peraza
Patty was fortunate to receive a scholarship from the Disney family to attend the Disney Animation program at Cal Arts, where she was taught by Disney Legends as well as notable industry experts. Patty has the distinction of being the first female hired by The Walt Disney Studios from Cal Arts and became one of the first female Effects Animators. Over the years, Patty has gone on to animate characters for Disney feature animated films, Disney Television and Disney Direct to Video.

Steve Adams
Steve designs and themes stores throughout the Disneyland Resort. He has worked for Disney since 1996, illustrating software for Disney Interactive, contributing store concepts to Imagineering, designing murals and sculpts for international flagship Disney Stores, and creating pins, big figs, and figurines for Disney Consumer Products, Enesco, and Lenox. He enjoys both the technical and aesthetic aspects of design. For the art and collectible section of the World of Disney, Steve designed the themed lighting, fixtures, and murals. He integrated a variety of details and materials, paying tribute to beloved Disney characters and feature films.

Jeremy Fulton
Walt Disney Imagineer, Jeremy Fulton began his career as a Disneyland attractions host at the age of 17. Since joining Walt Disney Imagineering, he’s designed everything from Madame Leota’s spell book to Rolly Crump’s dedication window. Jeremy’s interests include fanciful Victorian lettering, trains, dinosaurs and of course the Haunted Mansion!

Brian Kesinger
Brian Kesinger is an Annie award-winning story artist for Walt Disney Animation Studios. His 19 year career at Disney has spanned both hand-drawn and CG animated films from Tarzan to Moana. In addition to Brian’s film work he has also become a celebrated author and illustrator of several books that showcase his style, wit and ability to tell engaging stories in original ways. This artistic journey has lead him to find an additional home with marvel comics where he blends his animation background with the comic art form to create dazzling and expressive art.

Mark Jason Page
Mark Jason Page graduated from the Art Center in Pasadena, California in 1997. Upon graduating, Mark was hired by Walt Disney Imagineering where he worked for two years before venturing out to explore the film and animation industries. In 2006, Mark once again returned to Imagineering where he now works as a Creative Design Lead.

Thirty years ago Craig Fraser picked up an airbrush when finishing a commission, and hasn’t put it down since. Back in those days Craig was a “Professional” student switching from major to major. During this ten year search Craig acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Cal Poly SLO, as well as Associate degrees in Aero Engineering, Music, and Computer Science, even studying for a year in Firenze, Italy searching for that one passion that would inspire him in life. Ironically the inspiration was in front of him the entire time as his primary tool to finance his University career: Art, and Airbrushing.
Today Craig runs the Air Syndicate Studio in Bakersfield, California, working closely with Kal Koncepts as the head artist/designer. Craig has authored the best-selling “Automotive Cheap Tricks & Special FX” books, and has produced more than twenty-five instructional videos, as well as over 350 step-by-step feature articles for several notable magazines. Craig has even had the opportunity to create automotive workshop curriculums, develop creative products, and teach the fine art of Kustom Painting worldwide for twenty of his past 30 years airbrushing.

James C. Mulligan grew up in Los Angeles and Orange County, California, where he fell in love with the arts at a very young age. It was while attending UCLA as a theatre major, that he was hired to work as an artist for The Walt Disney Company, where his projects included concept design for theme park shows and attractions. He now focuses exclusively on fine art painting and his work has become highly collected by numerous celebrity clients and dedicated Disney fans around the globe.
